Fortis is proud to be one of two colleges in the Cutler Bay area preparing students for high-growth careers such as healthcare. When you graduate from Fortis’ Medical Assistant School in Florida, you will be well-positioned to find employment in the healthcare field as an entry-level medical assistant and start giving back to this local community.
You could pursue employment at a local healthcare center, such as Cutler Ridge Medical Center or Cutler Bay Medical Center, or pursue one in a neighboring community, including Baptist Health Homestead Hospital in Homestead or Jackson South Community Hospital in Palmetto Bay.
As a resident of Cutler Bay, you can take advantage of its location near scenic Biscayne Bay. The area is also known for great dining and shopping options, as well as being the home of Zoo Miami. Cutler Bay is a suburb of Miami with temperatures in the high 70s and 80s nearly all year long, which makes it a pleasant place to live and work.
Should you need the amenities of a bigger city like Miami or Coral Gables, both are easy to reach by car in less than 40 minutes.

From Westchester: Take FL-826 S to FL-874 S to Caribbean Blvd. in Cutler Bay. Take exit 12 from the Ronald Reagan Turnpike. Follow Caribbean Blvd. and US-1N to our campus on S Dixie Hwy.
From Naranja: Take US-1N and then turn left onto Belview Ln. Turn left and our campus will be on your right.

Most of our programs are eligible for Title IV funding. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. During the admissions process you will meet with a Financial Aid Advisor who can help you.
